Aaron M. Yorek, 45 year old resident of Sartell, MN passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018 at his home in Sartell, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN with Father Ben Kociemba officiating and Father Jimmy Joseph and Father Tony Kroll will con-celebrate. Burial will take place in the St. Stanislaus Parish Cemetery in Sobieski, MN. A visitation will be held from 4-8 P.M. on Friday and from 9-10 A.M. on Saturday at the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls, MN. Funeral arrangements are with the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls, MN. Aaron was born on August 28, 1973, in Little Falls, MN, to Jerry and Paulette (DeRosier) Yorek. He grew up in Little Falls, MN, where he attended school and graduated from Little Falls Community High School with the Class of 1991. After graduation, he enrolled at St. John's University in Collegeville, MN, and later transferred to St. Cloud State University where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. Aaron was employed with several different companies throughout the years working within their IT Departments, some of which included, St. Cloud Credit Union, MRI Vital Imaging, and most recently had been employed with CentraCare Health System for the last 6 years." In his free time, he enjoyed playing his violin, gardening, and was an excellent cook and baker. His family was very important to him. He loved spending time with all of his family, especially his many nieces and nephews with whom he loved to play. He was even known to spoil his nieces and nephews from time to time. Aaron will forever be remembered for his kind and gentle spirit. He could not tell anyone "No" and would do anything to help family or friends who were in need. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Aaron was preceded in death by grandparents, Sylvia Deering and Raymond & Regina Yorek; uncles, Jim Yorek and Ben DeRosier.
