Evangeline “Angie” (Cichon) Tuzinski, 86-year-old resident of Little Falls, MN passed away Sunday, October 4, 2015, at Highland Senior Living in Little Falls. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 8, 2015, at the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls with Chaplain James Neppl officiating. Burial will be at Holy Family Catholic Church Cemetery in Belle Prairie, MN. Visitation will be from 12 to 2 PM on Thursday at the Shelley Funeral Chapel. A Holy Family Rosary at 1PM. Evangeline was born on August 11, 1929, to Steve and Agnes (Vnuk) Tuzinski, in Little Falls, MN. She attended country school in Little Falls, MN through the eighth grade. Evangeline was united in marriage to Albin Cichon on April 28, 1952, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Little Falls, MN. They later divorced. Through the years she worked at Sweets Neckwear in Minneapolis, MN, and Munsinger in Little Falls, MN, Al’s Bar in Burtrum, MN, Bowlus Liquor in Bowlus, MN, Herbies in Sobieski, MN, and Jerry’s Supper Club, Little Falls, MN. She also farmed in Swanville, MN. Evangeline was a phone chatter bug. She enjoyed flowers and making yarn hangers with her friend Betty. Evangeline adored her grandchildren and especially becoming a great-grandmother and she loved to just sit and watch them. Evangeline is survived by daughters, Shirley (Charles) Soltis of Royalton, MN, and Sharon (Charles) Gottwalt of Rice, MN; sister, Ann (Jerry) Witt of Little Falls, MN; sister in law, Delphine Cichon of Minneapolis, MN; grandchildren, Brian (Tonya) Soltis of Royalton, MN; Sarah (Rick) Skaja of Royalton, MN, David (Tera) Cichon of Rice, MN, Zachary Gottwalt of Rice, MN; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Peyton, and Brody Soltis, Gavin Skaja, and Allie Cichon; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents, Steven and Agnes (Vnuk) Tuzinski; infant son, Thomas Cichon; sisters, Bernice Gallus and Marge O’Brien; brothers, Martin Tuzinski, Edward Tuzinski, Bernard Tuzinski, Clarence Tuzinski, and Frank Tuzinski. Pallbearers will be Charles Gottwalt, Zachary Gottwalt, David Cichon, Brian Soltis, Rick and Sarah Skaja.
