Beatrice “Bea” Haselkamp, 84 year old resident of Little Falls, MN, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2009 at Diamond Willow Assisted Living Facility in Little Falls, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 AM on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Little Falls with Father Nicholas Landsberger officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Parish Cemetery in Little Falls. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Wednesday, April 22nd at the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls and 1 hour prior to the service on Thursday at the Shelley Funeral Chapel. Christian Mothers Rosary will be prayed at 4:30 PM followed by Parish Prayers at 5 PM on Wednesday afternoon at the funeral chapel. Beatrice “Bea” Haselkamp was born on June 23, 1924 in Belle Prairie Township, Morrison County, Minnesota to the late Hector and Marion (Doucette) LeDoux. She was united in marriage to Robert Haselkamp on August 4, 1947 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Belle Prairie, MN. The couple resided in Little Falls where Bob operated Bob’s Garage. Bea was a lifetime member of Christian Mothers, Little Falls American Legion Auxiliary and St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She volunteered for many church activities through the years. Her volunteer work also extended to St. Otto’s Care Center, Little Falls American Legion and the Little Falls Senior Center. Bea ended her volunteer work at age 81 with 15 years of service with the Senior Companion Program. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with her family. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Leona Johnson (Peter) of Brainerd, MN and Shirley Ramsdell of Little Falls, MN; sons, Robert Haselkamp (Sara) of Kimball, MN and Thomas Haselkamp of Little Falls, MN; grandchildren, Tony, Sean, Kristina, Erica and Jay; 8 great-grandchildren; and special niece, Elaine LeDoux of Little Falls, MN. Bea is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Haselkamp; parents, Hector & Marion LeDoux; brothers and sisters, Rose, Clarice, Lilly, Albert, Walter, Lloyd, Irving, Sylvia and Viola (died in infancy). Pallbearers will be Tony Haselkamp, Sean Haselkamp, Kristina Strader, Erica Johnson, Jay Johnson and Justin Haselkamp.
