Charles "Chuck" Tschida 55-year-old resident of Little Falls, MN passed away Friday, December 9, 2016 at his home in Little Falls, MN. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls, MN with Father Joe Herzing officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in Pine Tree Cemetery near Hillman, MN. A visitation will be held from 9-11 A.M. on Thursday at the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls, MN. Funeral arrangements are with the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls, MN. Chuck was born on April 4, 1961 in Little Falls, MN to Ronald and Ellie Tschida. He grew up in Little Falls, MN where he attended Little Falls Community High School, graduating with the Class of 1979. Chuck was a member of the 1979 Little Falls Flyer baseball team that won a state title. After graduation Chuck enlisted in the Minnesota National Guard where he served for several years. He was later employed in North Dakota as an oil surveyor later returning to Little Falls where he was self-employed for many years. Chuck played baseball for the Fort Ripley Rebels amateur team for many years. His true passion in life was fishing which he was absolutely fanatical about and had much success. Chuck also was a Minnesota Sports fan, cheering on the Vikings, Twins, Wild, Timberwolves, and Gophers. He was united in marriage to Jennifer Rosen on September 30, 2015 in Little Falls, MN. Chuck loved Jennifer very much along with his five children and 10 grandchildren. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Chuck is survived by wife, Jennifer Tschida of Little Falls, MN; parents, Ronald and Ellie Tschida of Little Falls, MN; children, Benjamin Tschida of Little Falls, MN, Sheryce (Brian) Souder of St. Michael, MN, Kayla (Jason Nuehring) Tschida of Little Falls, MN, Bryce Tschida of Little Falls, MN, Samuel Tschida of Little Falls, MN, Tyler Flann of Little Falls, MN and Jenna Flann of Little Falls, MN; brothers, Jeff (Deb Boelz) Tschida of Little Falls, MN, John (Beckie) Tschida of Royalton, MN and Bill Tschida of Little Falls, MN; and 10 grandchildren. Chuck was preceded in death by grandparents, Jim and Magdalena Johnson and Frank and Albertha Tschida.
