Conrad M. Stanley

Conrad M. Stanley, 76 year old resident of Little Falls, MN passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019 at St. Otto’s Care Center in Little Falls. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls, MN with Rev. Brian Casey officiating. Burial will take place in Parker Cemetery in Randall, MN at a later date. A visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Saturday at the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls, MN. Funeral arrangements are with the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls, MN. Conrad was born on December 18, 1942 in Minneapolis, MN to the late Leslie and Lillian (Wold) Stanley. He was raised in Brainerd, MN where he attended school. Conrad was united in marriage to Jacquelin Mass on April 7, 1962. Together they raised 6 children on a family farm. He also worked as a mechanic in Brainerd, MN and in 1970 they moved to Little Falls where he worked at the Sanitary Bakery and Velvet Touch Carwash for many years. One of the joys later in his life was working at his daughter’s West Side Café doing dishes. He also loved being with family and going to family get-togethers. Conrad really looked forward to all the grandkid’s Birthday Parties. He also thoroughly enjoyed going with family to the casino, even if he didn’t win. Conrad biked and walked all over town after he retired and was very lucky at finding treasures along his travels. He also enjoyed watching Sci-Fi shows and old western movies. Conrad is survived by children, Myron (Teri) Stanley of Brainerd, MN, John (Lois) Stanley of Hillman, MN, Chris (Jeff) Siemers of Little Falls, MN, Sherry (Denny) Doble of Little Falls, MN and Connie (Duane) Cronquist of Bertha, MN; brothers, Lyle Stanley of CA, Roger (Mary) Stanley of Mankato, MN, Warren (Beverly) Stanley of Arden Hills, MN and Dennis (Carol) Stanley of Buffalo, MN; grandchildren, Jessica (Jason) Hollenbeck, Mike (Sara) Siemers, Nicole (Tim) Schmidt, Cody (Brittany) Richner, Hope Cronquist, Ashley Cronquist, Duane Cronquist Jr., Sean Stanley, and Amy Stanley; great-grandchildren, Mitchell, Matthew, Mckenna & Megan Hollenbeck, Bryce & Isaac Siemers, Autumn & Ezra Schmidt, Wyatt & Lane McKnight, Addison Pitkanen, and Evalyn Richner. Conrad was preceded in death by parents, Leslie and Lillian Stanley; brother, Curtis Stanley; sisters-in-law, Patty Stanley, Norma Stanley; son, David Stanley and grandson, Dustin Stanley.
