- Floral Web Store Is Not Available - Dale Edward Lamb, age 56, of Onamia, Minnesota, passed away on July 26, 2026, while staying at The Gardens at Foley. On the evening of December 27, 2024, Dale suffered a devastating stroke and was rushed to a hospital in Duluth, Minnesota. His family later learned the stroke was likely caused by a brain bleed. Over the following year and a half, Dale faced numerous surgeries and immense medical challenges. Despite his strength and efforts during that time, he ultimately lost his courageous battle with the lasting effects of his stroke. Dale was born on July 18, 1970, in Sidney, Montana, to Edward Lamb and Frances Wulf. During his early years, he lived in several states, including North Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, and Texas, before eventually making Minnesota his home. Dale's greatest joy in life was the people he loved. He cherished spending time with his family, his friends, and his life partner of 20 years, Aubrey Kristiansen. Although Dale never had children of his own, he adored his nieces and nephews and was truly a kid at heart. Whether he was teasing them, making them laugh, or joining in on the fun, he loved every minute spent with them. An outdoorsman through and through, Dale enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and relaxing with a cold beer after a long day. He also had a knack for collecting things that most people would probably consider to be of no use—but to Dale, every treasure had a story. A devoted Minnesota Vikings fan, he faithfully endured season after season of heartbreak, somehow always believing that next year would finally be the year – maybe this is finally their year! If you knew Dale, and even if you didn’t, you knew you were probably going to get a hard time from him. His quick wit, playful sense of humor, and ability to give just about anyone a hard time earned him more than a few nicknames over the years—all in good fun, of course. He had a way of making people laugh, shaking their head, or both at the same time. Rarely was there ever an in-between. His laughter, mischievous grin, and unforgettable personality will be deeply missed by everyone fortunate enough to know him. Dale is survived by his life partner, Aubrey Kristiansen of Onamia; his stepfather, Kevin Wulf of Onamia; his brother, Jerry Lamb of North Dakota; his sister, Bonnie (Kenneth) Havard of Texas; his sister-in-law, Judy Lamb of Wadena; his 27 nieces and nephews; his 22 great-nieces and great-nephews; as well as many dear friends and extended family members who held a special place in his heart. He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Wulf; his father, Edward Lamb; his brother, Brian Lamb; Elsie and Hank Avery; Lloyd Wulf; and Bob and Sharon Sanders. Burial will be in Oak Valley Cemetery, Hewitt, Minnesota. Arrangements are with the LeMieur Funeral Home in Onamia. Though Dale has left this world far too soon, the memories he created, the laughter he shared, and the love he gave so freely will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His stories will be told often, his jokes repeated (whether they should be or not), and his memory treasured always.
