Damian D. Hebler, a 14-year-old resident of Hillman, MN passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016, in Hillman, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, April 29, 2016, at St. Rita’s Catholic Church in Hillman, MN. Burial will take place in the St. Rita’s Parish Cemetery in Hillman, MN. A visitation will be held from 4-8 P.M. on Thursday and from 10-11 A.M. on Friday at St. Rita’s Catholic Church in Hillman, MN. Funeral arrangements are with the Shelley-Virnig Funeral Chapel in Pierz, MN. Damian was born on December 13, 2001, in Onamia, MN to Lindsey Kampa and Jaime Hebler. He grew up in the Hillman area and presently was an 8th grader at Pierz Healy High School in Pierz, MN. Damian was a very active young man that had a great passion for snowmobiling, dirt biking, trapping, and hunting. He was the type of kid that was very inquisitive and always wanted to know how everything worked. Damian was very proud of his 1984 Ford Bronco that he bought from his grandfather. He loved driving and taking his Ford Bronco mudding. When he wasn't driving something with a motor, Damian could be found working on or modifying something. He also loved building forts and swimming at the lake. Damian will forever be remembered for his great sense of humor, his thoughtfulness he showed to others, and the passion he had for life and his family. He was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by many. Damian is survived by mother, Lindsey and special friend Travis Winscher of Buckman, MN; father, Jaime (Claire Kunesh) Hebler of Hillman, MN; brothers, Connor Hebler, Jaime Hebler Jr. and Logan Hebler of Hillman, MN; grandparents, Jeanne Kampa of Morrill, Larry (JoAnn) Hebler of Hillman, MN and Dan Kutnink of Farmington, MN; great-grandparents, Bobby (Judy) Mathews of Hillman, MN and Edward (Kathy) Kampa of Pierz, MN; aunts and uncles, Chasidy Kampa, Robert (Stacy) Hebler, John Hebler, Larry (Amy) Hebler, Cheryl Larson-Hebler, Linda (Pat) Hebler-Jutz, Jeffery Hebler, Jason (Kelly) Hebler, Jeremy (Heidi) Hebler. Damian was preceded in death grandfather, Donald Kampa, and great-grandmother, Jeannine Kutnink.
