Dorothy E. Bellefeuille

Dorothy was born May 24, 1921 in Little Falls, MN to the late Irving & Irene Bisson. She grew up and attended school in Little Falls. Dorothy was united in marriage to Irvin J. Bellefeuille on November 22, 1939 in Holy Family Catholic Church at Belle Prairie, MN. The couple were life-long residents of Little Falls. Dorothy was employed at St. Otto’s Care Center in Little Falls as a cook for over 15 years. Dorothy enjoyed playing cards, bingo and all the activities available to the residents of St. Otto’s. She volunteered at the Little Falls Senior center on donut Thursday and pancake Sundays. She enjoyed family and friends stopping by to visit. Dorothy was a great hostess, quick with a bite to eat and a good cup of coffee. Christmas was Dorothy’s favorite time of the year when all her family would gather together. Everyone looked forward to eating Dorothy’s French pancakes sprinkled with sugar or covered in syrup. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Little Falls; Christian Mothers; Little Falls American Legion Auxiliary and Little Falls VFW Auxiliary. Dorothy E. Bellefeuille is survived by her daughter, Becky Treb & husband, Alex of Little Falls, MN; sons:Morris Bellefeuille & wife, Barb of Little Falls, MN; Jerry Bellefeuille & wife, Jedine of Ortonville, MI; Dennis Bellefeuille & wife, Betsy of Rocky Mount, NC; Gary Bellefeuille & wife, Diane of St. Cloud, MN; Marcel Bellefeuille & wife, Dawn of Little Falls, MN; Martin Bellefeuille & wife, Mary of Little Falls, MN; Roger Bellefeuille & wife, Patsy of Knoxville, TN and Bruce Bellefeuille & wife, Patti of Little Falls, MN; brothers, Virgil Bisson & wife, Lucy of Simi Valley, CA and Allen Bisson & wife, Delores of Spokane, WA; sisters, Muriel Cardinal of Little Canada, MN; Vivian Eller & husband, Don of Des Moines, IA; Gloriann Manning & husband, Skip of Hudson, WI; Mary Anderson & husband, Burton of Little Falls, MN and Jeannine Daniels of Little Falls, MN 24 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin on Feb. 16, 2004; infant son, Jimmy Bellefeuille; parents’ grandson, Nicholas Bellefeuille and a brother, Gordon Bisson.
