Duane “Dewy” Eiynk, 55 year old resident of Royalton, MN, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at his residence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN with Father Ben Kociemba officiating. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 AM on Wednesday at the church. Caring for Dewy and his family is the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls, MN. Duane “Dewy” Dean Eiynk was born on March 26, 1968, in St. Cloud, Minnesota to the late Duane Sr. and Delores (Langner) Eiynk. Throughout his childhood, he created many memories and chaos with his siblings, Tammy, Shelley (Duane), Darrin (Anji), and Daniel (Heather.) Once he was ready to venture on his own and follow his passion, Duane created his own sheet rocking business, Dewy’s Drywall, and it continued to grow for over 30 years, leading into new adventures involving contracting. On July 23, 1988, Duane was united in marriage to Jennifer “Jenny” Dubla at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Little Falls, MN. Together they strived to provide a beautiful life for themselves and their three daughters, Amber, Cheyanne, Sadie, and their only son, Dalton, who unfortunately left us too soon. During his life, many friends turned into family, and if we named them all, this would become a novel. He always saw the best in everyone and would do the best he could for others. There are too many words that come to mind when describing Dewy’s character, but we know he was everyone’s rock. He loved to do anything and everything outdoors, such as hunting, fishing, and landscaping. Along with those, he had a strong, creative passion for woodworking. As most know, Dewy made some amazing woodworking pieces that will forever carry beautiful memories. More than anything, he enjoyed any chance he got with his family to spend quality time and being there for his daughters every step of the way. While helping navigate their own lives, he became a role model to Aaron Marshik (Sadie,) Dustin Waytashek (Amber,) and Tyler Muellner (Cheyanne.) Always providing everyone with love, good laughs, and comfort. He was home to us and will forever be missed. Dewy’s light will shine on through his wife, three girls, friends and family. Duane was preceded in death by his parents, Duane Sr and Delores Eiynk; mother-in-law, Marlene Dubla; brother, Darrin; sister-in-law, Anji Eiynk; and his son, Dalton Eiynk.
