Eileen T. Tschida, 97 year old resident of Elk River, MN formerly of Little Falls, MN passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at the Guardian Angels By The Lake Senior Living in Elk River, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:30 PM on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Elk River, MN with Father Mark Innocenti officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Cemetery in Pierz, MN. Visitation will be from 11AM to 12:30 PM on Tuesday at St. Andrew Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Guardian Angels by the Lake Senior Living in Elk River, MN or to the Franciscan Sisters of Little Falls, MN. She was united in marriage to Clarence Tschida on May 8, 1949. Eileen graduated from St. Francis High School in Little Falls in 1944. After graduation, she trained as a teletype operator. She then went to Utah to work for the war effort. After the war, she returned to Minnesota and worked at Munsingwear. After her marriage to Clarence, she stayed home and raised her children. Eileen was a happy homemaker. She loved to sew, play cards and go fishing. Spending time at the lake was her favorite thing to do, sitting at the end of the dock praying and fishing. Eileen was also a proud St. Francis Associate. Eileen is survived by her children, Gary Tschida, Greg (Pat) Tschida, Cindy (Richard) Eversman and Glen (Janet) Tschida; grandchildren, Mick Tschida, Abby (Duane) Lundy, Mitchel (Bailey) Eversman, Kathryn Tschida and Steve (Steph) Tschida; great-grandchildren, Anders and Leif Tschida, Maya and Evan Dooley, Avery, Cameron, Gage and Sadie Lundy, Eloise and Adeline Eversman and Delilah Tschida; brothers, Rod (Pat) Boser, Gil (Lil) Boser, Larry (Doris) Boser; sisters, Delly Stein and Sharon(Jerome) Meyer. Eileen was welcomed into Heaven by her husband, Clarence, and her granddaughter, Kelly (Tschida) Dooley.
