Elizabeth I. Johnson

Elizabeth I. Johnson, 89 year old resident of Princeton, MN formerly of Little Falls, MN passed away Monday, March 19, 2018 at the Elim Home in Princeton, MN. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Northstar Cemetery in St. Cloud, MN. Funeral arrangements are with the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls, MN. Elizabeth was born on June 10, 1928 in International Falls, Minnesota to the late Andrew and Theo (Cleveland) Anderson. She grew up in International Falls, Minnesota, where she attended school and graduated from International Falls High School. In 1946, Elizabeth was united in marriage to Alfred White in International Falls, Minnesota. She worked as a telephone operator for many years in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In 1958, she was united in marriage to Carl W. Johnson in Sacramento, CA. The couple resided in Sacramento for several years where she was employed at the Department of Motor Vehicle. She relocated to St. Cloud, Minnesota, where she worked for Gronseth Directory, publishing phone directories. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint work, and making special treasures for all her family members. Most of all, she enjoyed her children and many grandchildren, they were the love of her life. Elizabeth will forever be remembered for her great sense of humor and her incredible ability to make friends and get along with everyone. For the last couple years, she has been a resident at the Elim Home in Princeton, where she enjoyed the caring staff and the many friends she made with other residents. Elizabeth was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Elizabeth is survived by children, John White of Taylorsville, KY, Debbie (Jerry) Moore of Royalton, MN, Maxine (Roger) Loidolt of St. Cloud, MN and Terri Brady of Royalton, MN; brother, Nils (Jeanette) Anderson of International Falls, MN; grandchildren, Josh, Sara, Glenn, Wendy, Shannon, Daniel, Kristin, Katie, Ethan, Brett, Travis and Sheena; great-grandchildren, Camron, Maci, Kayla, Brandon, Rylan, Ashley, Jordan, Robert, Spencer, Kamyjah, Dillon, and Hayden; great-great grandchildren, Destiny, Hailey, and Litty. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Theo Anderson; husband, Carl W. Johnson, and daughter, Kathryn Barsky.
