Frieda Rebischke

Frieda Rebischke, 92 year old resident of Sauk Rapids, MN formerly of Little Falls, MN passed away Sunday, November 12, 2017 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Sauk Rapids, MN. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Zion Lutheran Church in Little Falls, MN. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery in Little Falls. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 PM on Tuesday at Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls, MN, and from 9:30 to 10:30 AM Wednesday at the church. A Prayer Service will be held at 7 PM on Tuesday at the funeral chapel. Frieda Alvina Anna Holz was born on April 6, 1925 in Fort Ripley, MN to the late Gustav and Esther (Bublitz) Holz. She was united in marriage to Roland Rebischke on March 26, 1946 at Zion Lutheran Church in Little Falls, MN. In her earlier years Frieda worked at Munsingwear and then at the Lutheran Care Center as a nurse’s aide as well as numerous other jobs over the years. Most of all she enjoyed her job as a full time mom, which was her greatest accomplishment. Frieda was the world’s best cook and baker. She enjoyed making greeting cards, reading and traveling. Frieda loved her family and friends and was a wonderful servant of the Lord, as well as providing her hospitality to many over the years. Frieda is survived by her son; Roger Roland Rebischke of Little Falls, MN, daughters, Sandra Lee (James) Peterson of Jasper, GA, and Sharon Jean (Gary) Salmonson of St. Cloud, MN; brothers, Robert Holz of Little Falls, MN, LeRoy Holz of Little Falls, MN, Edwin Holz of Beaverton, OR, and Donald Holz of St. Cloud, MN; sisters, Mildred Rebischke of Little Falls, MN, Bernice Waldvogel (Don) of Little Falls, MN, Marie Holz of Little Falls, MN, and Adeline Kazeck of Sauk Rapids, MN; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; special friends, Cindy Heddens of St. Cloud, MN and Warren Opp of St. Cloud, MN. Frieda was preceded in death by her parents; Gustav and Esther Holz; husband, Roland; grandson, Ryan Rebischke; brother, Gustav (Jr) Holz; and sisters, Irma LaFond and Eleanor Holz. Honorary Bearers will be Julie Martini, Amy Rebischke, Kim Peterson, Jeff Salmonson, Maxwell Martini, Jed Martini, Landon Deisler-Williams, Bella Salmonson, and Ryan Rebischke. Casketbearers will be Michael Holz, Pete May, Ross Waldvogel, Mike Gohl, Kevin Kazeck, and Terry Kazeck.
