Jean Quigley

Jean Quigley, 85 year old resident of Little Falls, MN formerly of Mesa, AZ passed away Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Highland Senior Living in Little Falls, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Friday, October 9, 2015 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN with Father Joe Herzing officiating. Burial will take place in the Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN. A visitation will be held from 10-11:30 A.M. on Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN. Arrangements are with the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls, MN. Jean was born on April 16, 1930 in Montgomery, MN to the late Emil and Albina (Filipek) David. She grew up in Montgomery, MN where she attended Country School and graduated from Faribault High School. Jean was united in marriage to Donald Jandro on June 15, 1948 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Faribault, MN. To this marriage five children were born and Jean dedicated much of her early years to raising and caring for her family. After her children had grown up, Jean went to work at Brockway Glass and The Ambassador Card Company. On August 20, 1981 she was united in marriage to Bill Quigley in Hastings, MN. They later relocated to Mesa, AZ where Jean resided for 30 years until moving to Little Falls, MN. Jean will forever be remembered by her family as the greatest baker around. Her coffee cakes, Kolacky, and bowknots where her most loved desserts by her family. Jean also enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and entertaining guests at her home. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family. Jean is survived by sons, David (Helen) Jandro of Warba, MN, Douglas (Nancy) Jandro of Lakeland, MN and Richard (Kathy) Jandro of Dundas, MN; daughters, Sandy (Charles) Forss of Little Falls, MN and Deb Jandro of Canby, MN; step-daughters, Kathy (Mike) Mooney of St. Paul, MN, Barb (Ron) Cameron of Lakeville, MN, JoAnn (John) Williams of Savannah, SC, Debbie (Dick) Green of Apple Valley, MN and Mary (Gary) Dahnke of Burnsville, MN; brother, Alvin (Betty) David of Faribault, MN; 25 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Emil and Albina David; husbands, Donald Jandro and William Quigley; and sister, Marian Sevcik.
