Marvin LeRoy Doucette, 77 year old resident of Little Falls, MN passed away Thursday, December 29, 2011 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN with Father Mark Innocenti officiating. Burial will take place in the Parish Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 P.M. on Monday at the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls, MN and from 9:30-10:30 A.M. on Tuesday at the Church. Parish prayers will be prayed at 5:30 P.M. and Knights of Columbus Office of the Dead will be at 7 P.M. on Monday at the Shelley Funeral Chapel. Funeral arrangements are with the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls, MN. Marvin was born July 12, 1934 in Little Falls, MN to the late Lawrence and Elizabeth (Borash) Doucette. He was united in marriage to Audrey Mallak on November 22, 1965 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Sobieski, MN. The couple resided in the Freedhem and Little Falls area until moving to Little Falls in 2004. Marvin farmed and worked road construction; but most of all he was a dedicated husband and father. He enjoyed playing cards, spending time on the computer, and visiting with family and friends. Marvin was a life member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Belle Prairie. He will forever be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather (PAPA) which will be greatly missed. Marvin is survived by wife, Audrey Doucette of Little Falls, MN; son, Mark S. (Kristine) Doucette of Nisswa, MN; daughters, Karen M. Doucette (Michael Hopman) of Hastings, MN and Sharon M. Doucette (Brian Srsen) of Cottage Grove, MN; grandchildren, Eric Doucette (girlfriend,Bethany), Andrew Doucette, Austin Doucette, Ian Hopman, Fay Doucette, Wyatt Srsen, Adelia Hopman, Brady Doucette, Brody Srsen; brother, Leonard (Clara) Doucette of Little Falls, MN and Louis (Agnes) Doucette of Cushing, MN; sister, Lorraine Carlson of Arden Hills, MN; aunt, Florence Houle of Little Falls, MN; uncles, Florian Borash and Leonard Nelson; many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Preceded in death by parents, Lawrence & Elizabeth Doucette; granddaughter, Ashley Doucette; brother-in-law, Leonard Carlson; grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, and uncles.
