Naomi Iserman

Naomi Iserman, age 70, of Onamia, MN, passed away on July 26, 2023. A Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Lakeview Community Church, 25538 370th Ave. N. Hillman, MN 56338. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to service at church. Refreshments will be served after service. Arrangements are with the Shelley Funeral Chapel of Onamia. Naomi was born on October 28, 1952, in Richfield, Minnesota, to Myrtle (Stadem) and William Svanoe. She was united in marriage to Bernard “Bernie” Iserman on June 5, 1985, in Minnetrista, Minnesota. She was passionate about the power of healing touch, nature, and living a healthy life. Everyone Naomi met was a friend, and every friend was blessed by her selflessness. She had a unique ministry in her singing, massage, interpretive dance, her encouraging and lively spirit; she would help whoever was in need. Together with her husband, they enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, tending to their gardens, canning, and swimming. Her happy place was with her horses, in a stunning landscape by the ocean or in the mountains, on an adventure to who knows where. Most importantly, her happy place was with her family; weeks before she passed, she stopped at a family reunion despite her failing health. She was creative to the extreme and liked to spend her time painting, scrapbooking, doing calligraphy, and following her passions wherever they would take her. Naomi never grew old. No one knew the love that Naomi had to give better than her children, grandchildren, and her husband, Bernie. She will be dearly missed by all. Naomi is survived by her loving husband, Bernie; sons, Gabrial (Sheila) Iserman, Michael Iserman, Johnathan (Lauren) Iserman, Gene (Julia) Iserman III; grandchildren, Blake, Amelia, Caleb, Letty, and Ellis Iserman; brothers, Renard (Petra) Svanoe, Victor Svanoe; sisters, Rachel Christine, Debbie (Jeff) Svanoe; and many loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Myrtle (Stadem) and William Svanoe; brothers, Alfred Svanoe, and Luther Svanoe; and her sister, Miriam Rinderneck.
