Vincent M. Maciej, 27 year old resident of New London, MN formerly of Little Falls, MN passed away unexpectedly Friday, December 28, 2018 at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 A.M. on January 5, 2019 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN with Father Ben Kociemba officiating. Burial will take place in the Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Cemetery in Little Falls, MN. A visitation will be held from 4-8 P.M. on Friday and from 9:30-11 A.M. on Saturday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN. Funeral arrangements are with the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls, MN. Vincent was born on April 19, 1991 in Shakopee, MN to Todd and Renee (Anez) Maciej. He grew up in Chaska, MN and later moved to Little Falls, MN in 2000. He attended Little Falls Community High School, where he graduated with the Class of 2009 and competed on the Boy’s Hockey and Soccer teams. After graduation, he attended NDSU (North Dakota State University) where he earned his degree in Emergency Management. In his junior year at NDSU Vincent was initiated into the agriculture fraternity AGR (Alpha Gamma Rho). He was united in marriage to Joy Stumpf on January 30, 2016 at Immaculate Heart Catholic Church in Cross Lake, MN. In 2010 Vincent started working for Anez Consulting and helped with soil sampling, scouting, putting in Pioneer test plots and making seed deliveries. In 2014 Vincent became the lead Pioneer seed sales representative and the location manager at Anez Consulting of Paynesville, MN. His hunting career started off with duck and geese, but his true hunting passion was whitetail deer with both bow and rifle, to maximize his time out in the woods pursuing them. Vincent also enjoyed participating on the Paynesville bowling league and ice fishing with family and friends. He was very passionate about following weather changes and enjoyed chasing storms. Vincent will forever be remembered for his compassionate heart and his drive, energy, and passion for everything he did (family, friends, hunting, career, anything outdoors, and pulling a good prank). He had a great love for getting family and friends together, he was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Vincent is survived by loving wife, Joy Maciej of New London, MN; parents, Todd and Renee Maciej of Little Falls, MN; siblings, Mick Maciej of Little Falls, MN, August Maciej of New London, MN and Mya (Jesse) Klebe of Fargo, ND; grandparents, Ken and Chris Maciej of Elk River, MN, Lloyd and Cindy Anez of Little Falls, MN and Patrick Wheeler of Little Falls, MN; mother-in-law, Barb Stumpf of Little Falls, MN; sister-in-law, Naomi Stumpf of GA; aunts and uncles, Karen Anez of Little Falls, MN, Vince (Lisa) Anez of Little Falls, MN, Doug (Kelly) Anez of Exeter, CA, Kami Anez of Willmar, Paul (Missy) Anez of Little Falls, MN, Janee Anez (Bob Bobick) of Elk River, Yvette Anez (Dean Robinson) of Little Falls, MN, Joy (Jay) Erwin of Fort Ripley, MN, Tom (Emily) Anez of New London, MN, Jeff (Kari) Maciej of Champlin, MN and Greg (Jenny) Maciej of Champlin, MN; and niece and nephew, Raina and Roland Klebe. Vincent was preceded in death by his grandmother, Elizabeth Wheeler; uncles, Verd Anez and Jared Anez and father-in-law, Ray Stumpf.
