William “Bill” Morse, Jr., 83 year old resident of Little Falls, MN, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Diamond Willow Assisted Living in Little Falls. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, December 8, 2023 at First United Church in Little Falls, MN with Rev. Tony Romaine officiating. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery in Little Falls, MN. A visitation will take place from 9-11 A.M. on Friday, December 8, 2023 at First United Church in Little Falls, MN. Morse was born on June 15, 1940, in Ely, MN to the late William and Mary (Klanchar) Morse. He was raised in Little Falls, MN where he graduated from Little Falls High School with the Class of 1959. In 1961 he started Bill’s Standard Service on the west side of Little Falls and later moved the business to downtown Little Falls in January of 1963. Bill operated the service station for 40 years before selling it to Josh and Marianne Bloom in 2004. He was united in marriage to Jeanette Stiller on August 26, 1959, and the couple later divorced. Bill was then united in marriage to Sandra Ahrens on July 30, 1968. He was a lifelong member of First United Church in Little Falls, Lone Eagle Auto Club, Little Falls Lions Club, Little Falls Flyer Athletic Booster and the St. Gabriel’s Hospital Auxiliary. In his free time, he loved going on motorcycle trips, volunteering, attending sporting events, fishing, bowling league, traveling and spending time with friends and family. Bill was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. He is survived by children, Charles (Berit) Morse of Medina, MN, Blane Morse of Little Falls, MN and Deborah (Roger) Larson of Pine City, MN; daughter-in-law, Robyn Morse of Maplewood, MN; grandchildren, Will, Annabelle, Christopher, Ellie, Lindsay and Ryan; and 4 great-grandchildren, Zoë, Zane, Gabriel and William "Will". Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Morse; wife, Sandra Morse; son, Todd Morse and brothers, Ken and Ray Morse.
