Albert A. Kedrowski

Albert August Kedrowski was born November 7, 1923 in Parker Township, Morrison County, MN to the late John & Bessie Kedrowski. He grew up in Parker Township and attended District #132 country school. After completing his schooling, he helped his parents farm. In 1946, Albert became employed by the Northern Pacific Railroad as a carpenter in the bridge and building department and later as a paint foreman. He was united in marriage in May of 1958 to Bernadette Stanoch at Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Opole, MN. Bernadette passed away January 1, 1967. Albert left the railroad to care for his six children, ages 9 months to eight years old. He was united in marriage to Shirley (Bollig) Marx on October 5, 1974 at St. James Catholic Church in Randall, MN. From 1967 until 1978, he was employed at Hennepin Paper Company in Little Falls, MN. Albert then became a dairy farmer until retiring in 1982. Although retired, he continued to help his son, David on the farm. Albert was able to enjoy many years of traveling and may have stopped at a casino or two along the way. He always enjoyed visiting with people he met. He enjoyed his family and especially looked forward to visits from his grandchildren and great grandchildren. His dachscund, Duke was a constant companion. Albert was always willing to lend a hand to family, friends, neighbors, church, and to total strangers. He was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Swanville, MN. Albert A. Kedrowski is survived by his wife, Shirley; children, David Kedrowski & special friend, Melinda Spieker of Swanville, MN; Marie Kedrowski of St. Cloud, MN; Gary Marx & wife, RoseAnn of Long Prairie, MN; Rosemary Mehr & husband Matt of Upsala, MN; Randy Marx & wife, Jackie of Cushing, MN; Alan Kedrowski of Swanville, MN; Patricia Bode & husband, Bruce of Little Falls, MN and Gerald Kedrowski & wife, Jeannette of Burnsville, MN; grandchildren, Amber Pearcy; Melissa & Ricky Marx; Jessie & Randy Marx Jr; Amanda & Michael Kedrowski; Marcus Houselog; Wyatt & Owen Bode, Nicholas Kedrowski and Christopher Wessman; great grandchildren, Abby & Wesly Pearcy; brothers, John Kedrowski of Swanville, MN; James Kedrowski of Swanville, MN and Larry Kedrowski & wife, Karen of St. Augusta, MN; sisters, Evelyn Carlson & husband, Marshall of Pine City, MN and Joan Pearson & husband, Dave of Pillager, MN. Albert was preceded in death by his first wife, Bernadette; parents; brother, Paul Kedrowski and sister, Geraldine Lodl. Casketbearers will be his children.
