Cameron Larson

Cameron Larson, 27 year old resident of Paynesville, MN, formerly of Swanville, MN, passed away on Friday, July 28, 2023 at the St. Cloud Hospital. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at Paynesville Lutheran Church in Paynesville, MN, with Pastor Paul Shumaker officiating. A visitation will be held from 5 PM to 8 PM Tuesday and from 10 AM to 11 AM Wednesday, both at the church. A Burial Service will take place at 3 PM on Wednesday at St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery in Swanville, MN. Caring for Cameron and his family is the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Swanville, MN. Livestream of funeral can be accessed at www.paynesvillelutheran.org Cameron was born June 18, 1996 in Little Falls, MN to Stacy (Lambrecht) Larson. Cameron was baptized and confirmed at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Swanville, MN and graduated in 2015 from Swanville High School. He worked various jobs but his true passion was working on the farm. He was currently employed at Kolb Farms in Richmond, MN. When not working, you could find Cameron smoking a variety of meats to share with his friends and spending time with his beloved dogs, Windsor, Chloe and Nova. Cameron was a generous person and always grateful for the things people did for him. In his younger days, you could always find Cameron with his grandpa Kenny. The two were inseparable in everything they did, whether it was hauling cattle with the semi, cleaning cattle trailers, or riding 3-wheeler or 4-wheeler. Cameron idolized his grandpa and when Kenny passed away a huge hole formed in his heart that no one could fill. We find great comfort in knowing the two have been reunited. Cameron is survived by his mother and stepfather, Stacy Larson and Craig Elfering of Paynesville; brother, Dalton (Taylor) Lambrecht of Brainerd; grandparents, Cheryl Lambrecht of Royalton and Jerome & Mary Lou Elfering Christensen of Paynesville; uncles and aunts, Jeff (Julie) Lambrecht, Carrie Roering, Dennis Roering, Tamie (Jeff Johnson) Barthel all of Long Prairie, Renae Abers of Swanville, John (Amy) Elfering, Bruce (Tracey) Elfering, Kurt (Deann) Elfering all of Paynesville, Jen (Curt) Weisz of Foley, Brandy Christensen of Plymouth, Paul (Renee) Christensen of Lester Prairie, multiple cousins and friends and his canine companions, Windsor, Chloe and Nova. He was preceded in death by grandfathers, Kenneth Lambrecht and Kenneth Elfering; aunt, Tonia Lambrecht; and cousin, Brecklyn Abers.
