DeWayne J. LeBlanc, 72 year old resident of Little Falls, MN passed away Monday, August 5, 2013 at the Pierz Villa in Pierz, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, August 9, 2013 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN with Father Nicholas Landsberger officiating. Burial will take place in St. Mary’s Parish Cemetery in Little Falls, MN. Friends may call from 4-8 P.M. on Thursday and from 9-10 A.M. on Friday at the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls, MN. A parish prayer service will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday evening at the Shelley Funeral Chapel. Funeral arrangements are with the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls, MN. DeWayne was born August 10, 1940 in Little Falls, Minnesota to the late Jake and Hildegard (Hoffman) LeBlanc. He lived in the Little Falls area all his life. DeWayne attended country school through the 8th grade and Little Falls High School through the 10th grade. He was united in marriage to Ellen Kropuenske, June 8th, 1963 at Holy Family Church in Belle Prairie. DeWayne worked at Larson Boat Works, drove fuel oil delivery truck for Cenex and Shell Oil. He was employed as a mechanic for several businesses in Little Falls and did maintenance for the Pine Edge Inn. DeWayne was also employed at Anderson’s Custom Processing for 13 years before retiring due to an illness. He was also a Special Deputy for Morrison County in his younger years. DeWayne enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, riding his 4-wheeler, and watching the birds. He also loved his travels he made to 12 states and Canada. Visiting with family and friends was also something he truly enjoyed. DeWayne is survived by wife of 50 years, Ellen of Little Falls, MN; sons, Terry (Colleen) LeBlanc of Andover, MN; and Tim (Lucinda) LeBlanc of Little Falls, MN; daughter, Pam (Mark) Throener of Swanville, MN; grandchildren, Shane LeBlanc, Stacia LeBlanc, Nathan (Larissa) LeBlanc, Rachel LeBlanc, Brandon LeBlanc, Tyler LeBlanc, Kayla LeBlanc, Dylan LeBlanc, Mason LeBlanc, Emma LeBlanc, Cally LeBlanc, Kyle Throener, Kristopher Throener, and Kody (Alicia) Throener; great-grandsons, Hunter LeBlanc, Jake Phillip LeBlanc; sister, Jo Ann (Rich) Goenner of Clear Lake, MN, brothers, Richard (GeGe) LeBlanc; Roger (Rosie) LeBlanc; and Mike (Julie) LeBlanc, all of Little Falls, MN; nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncle. DeWayne was preceded in death by his parents, Jake and Hildegard; infant sister; granddaughter, Amber LeBlanc; and grandparents, Joe & Addie LeBlanc and Frank & Sophie Hoffman.
