**In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials Are Preferred to Holy Cross Catholic Church** Gloria Elizabeth Leaf, beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, peacefully passed away on November 24th, 2023, at the age of 84, surrounded by loved ones. The family invites friends and loved ones to join them in a Celebration of Gloria's Life on Wednesday, November 29th, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Onamia, MN. Visitation will be from 10:00-10:30 AM, and the Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 AM. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, with a luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Holy Cross Catholic Church. May Gloria Elizabeth Leaf rest in eternal peace, her legacy living on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Born to Arthur and Delia Hasert on January 6th, 1939, in Marshall, Gloria's journey through life was marked by love, faith, and unwavering commitment to her family. As a child, Gloria's family moved to Onamia. In 1957, Gloria married the love of her life, Lenin Albert Leaf. Gloria is survived by her son, Steven, and his wife, Kathy; daughters, Jeanne and her husband, Gregory; and Linda; brothers, Dean (and Harriet), Arthur, and Gene; sister, Judy. Her memory remains in the hearts of her grandchildren, Michael and his wife, Mary, David and his wife, Amanda, Sarah and her husband, Dan, Jennifer and her husband, Stefano, and Chris; step-grandchildren, Chad, Jeremy, Scott, and Kristina; as well as 21 great-grandchildren, will forever carry forward her legacy. Gloria's life was a testament to her commitment to family. She was not only a caring mother and grandmother but also a devoted sister. She reveled in the joys of family gatherings, celebrating each milestone with laughter and warmth. Preceding her in death were her beloved husband, Lenin Leaf; and siblings, Phyllis, Joyce, and Jim; and many other family members and friends. Gloria's zest for life extended beyond her family; she was an avid game player and found solace in the embrace of the Catholic Church. In addition to her spiritual pursuits, Gloria enjoyed her visits to the casino, doing puzzles, playing card games, and visiting with family and friends. Her lively spirit and love for life shone through in every endeavor, and her memory will forever be a beacon of light for those who were fortunate enough to know her.
