Inez M. Karnes

Inez M. Karnes, 92 year old resident of Little Falls, MN passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at the St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls, MN. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Monday, July 13, 2026 at St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls, MN with Pastor Dale Siers officiating. Burial will take place in the Lakeview Cemetery in Grey Eagle, MN. Visitation will be held from 10:30-11:30 A.M. on Monday, July 13, 2026 at St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls, MN. Caring for Inez and her family is the LeMieur Funeral Home in Little Falls, MN. Inez was born on May 13, 1934, in Grey Eagle, Minnesota, to the late Edward and Anna (Olson) Walker. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Clyde Karnes, on September 28, 1953. Together they purchased a farm near Bertram, Minnesota, where they lovingly raised their four sons: Monte, Mark, Tim, and Jesse. Throughout their years together, Inez and Clyde made several moves before eventually settling in Randall, Minnesota. Following Clyde's passing, Inez moved to Little Falls, Minnesota, where she resided at St. Otto's Care Center for the final years of her life. Inez found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved spending time fishing, tending to her garden, and expressing her creativity through arts and crafts. Her talent and dedication were recognized at the Morrison County Fair, where several of her handcrafted items earned blue ribbon honors. Above all, Inez treasured her family and the many memories they created together over the years. She is survived by her sons, Mark (Linda) Karnes of Rice, MN, Tim Karnes of Washington and Jesse Karnes of Washington; brother, Bob (Pear) Walker of Pequot Lakes, MN; sister, Patty Sirinsky of Thief River Falls, MN; ten grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Inez was preceded in death by parents, Edward and Ann Walker; husband, Clyde Karnes; son, Monte Karnes; sisters, Anna Maet and Betty Walker; and brother, Edward Walker. The family of Inez would like to thank the staff at St. Otto’s Care Center for all the love and care they showed for Inez over the years.
