Lucille C. Bolster 98 year-old resident of Pierz, MN passed away Saturday, February 2, 2013 at St. Gabriel’s Hospital in Little Falls, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Pierz, MN with Father David Maciej officiating. Burial will take place in the St. Joseph’s Parish Cemetery in Pierz, MN. Friends may call from 9-11 A.M. on Saturday at St. Joseph’s Church in Pierz, MN. A Christian Mothers rosary will be prayed at 9:00 A.M. on Saturday at the Church. Funeral arrangements are with the Shelley-Virnig Funeral Chapel in Pierz, MN. Lucille was born on July 11, 1914 in Belle Prairie Township in Morrison County, Minnesota to the late Joe and Addie (Brousseau) LeBlanc. She grew up and attended Country School in the Belle Prairie area. Lucille was united in marriage to Leo Bolster on June 12, 1940 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Belle Prairie. Lucille and Leo lived their married life on Pierz Fish Lake in Pierz, MN on what is known today as Bolster Point. She was initially a stay at home Mom and enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, crocheting, card playing, and listening to music. Dean Martin was her favorite. After her children were in High school, she worked at the Pierz bakery and later at the Style Shop in Pierz. Lucille will always be remembered for her kindness, her hard work at keeping everything clean, faith in God, and endless love for her family. She was a lifetime member of the Christian Mothers and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Pierz, MN. Lucille is survived by son, Ken (Colette) Bolster of Dassel, MN; daughters, Karen (Roger) Kuklok of Royalton, MN, Janice (Ronald) Kuklok of Pinehurst, NC, and Sheryl (Jim) Shaft of Sun Prairie, WI; brother, Charlie (Bernett) LeBlanc of Little Falls, MN; sister, Elaine Holste of Little Falls, MN; 8 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 3 step great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson; and many nieces and nephews. Lucille was preceded in death by husband of 69 years, Leo Bolster; parents, Joe & Addie LeBlanc; siblings, Wilfred LeBlanc, Laura Mae Nelson, Jake LeBlanc, Bert LeBlanc, Louise Walkoviak, and Donald LeBlanc; grandson, David Kuklok.
