Marge LeBlanc

Marge LeBlanc, 83 year old resident of Little Falls, MN passed away Monday, October 17, 2016 at Country Manor in Sartell, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, October 28, 2016 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Belle Prairie, MN with Father Joe Herzing officiating. Burial will take place in the Holy Family Parish Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 4-8 P.M on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls, MN and from 10-11 A.M. on Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church in Belle Prairie, MN.Funeral arrangements are with the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls, MN. Margaret Mary Terhaar was born on April 30, 1933 in Agrum Township to the late Phillip Terhaar and Agnes Stumpf. Marge has seven siblings and grew up on the family farm. She attended elementary school in School District 46 and graduated from St. Francis Catholic High School in Little Falls, MN. After graduation, Margaret moved to San Diego, CA with her older sister Cecelia. There she worked as an electrician building airplanes for Convair. Margaret was united in marriage to Donald Wilfred LeBlanc on June 30, 1957 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierz, MN. In the late 1960’s they built and established their home in Little Falls, MN where they raised their four children. Margaret was a workaholic. Not only did she cook thousands of meals for clients at their family business, The Don LeBlanc Hunting Preserve, where she became well known for her world famous wild game meals, she found time to work the switchboard at St. Francis Convent for 30+ years, helped to raise five grandchildren and volunteer at Harmony House in Pierz, MN. On October 10, 2010 Margaret became a Franciscan Associate. She enjoyed her interaction with the nuns and wished to grow in understanding and living the Franciscan way of life. Margaret had two passions: gardening and generosity. She always had a very large garden in the summer and a greenhouse that she would heat during the fall and winter months. She was always very proud to tell you she was eating fresh cucumbers and tomatoes in January! Margaret was very giving to her children and grandchildren. She also had two adoptive families in Mississippi. Marge also enjoyed horses, fishing trips to Canada and deer hunting with the family. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Margaret is survived by her son, John (Michelle) LeBlanc of Little Falls, MN; daughters, Sue (Bob) Schneider of Little Falls, MN and Patricia (William Erickson) of Little Falls, MN, grandchildren, Kelly Laubach, Cody Schneider, Kiefer LeBlanc, Riley LeBlanc and Amanda Senart; 5 great-grandchildren, Conner, Karlie, Caiden, Brady and Mia; brothers, Rollie (Dorothy) Terhaar, of Rogers, MN, Earl (Helen) Terhaar, of Cambridge, MN, Hank Terhaar of Foreston, MN; sisters, JoAnn White of Nimrod, MN, Cecelia Kapsner of St. Michael, MN, and Kitty Solinger of Pierz, MN and many nieces and nephews. Margaret was preceded in death by parents, husband, Donald LeBlanc, infant son Jamie, daughter, Mary Kay LeBlanc and sister, Adie Mentele.
