Sandra R. Kludt

Sandra R. Kludt, 69 year old resident of Randall, MN passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at the Lake Country Assisted Living in Brandon, MN. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, August 22, 2011 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Cushing with Rev. James Swanson officiating. Burial will be at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery north of Little Falls. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 PM on Sunday at the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church. Sandra R. Kludt was born on December 9, 1941 in Wadena, Minnesota to the late Alvin Sr. & Lorraine (Flora) Tangen. Sandra graduated from Crookston Agriculture High School in 1959. She married Darrell W. Kludt on August 8th 1959 in Leader, Minnesota. Together they raised 5 children on a farm near Randall, Minnesota. Sandy had a love for music and enjoyed playing classic country with her friends. In 1984, they purchased Skeets Corner. They also owned Skeets Mobile Home Park for several years. Sandy enjoyed crafting, traveling, flowers, feeding birds and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her beloved pet, Little Shihtz; sons, David Kludt (friend, Lonnie Hanson) of Alexandria, MN, Wayne Kludt (friend, Laurie Bencker) of Randall, MN; daughters, Victoria Wendland (Kenneth) of Randall, MN, Jeannine Kempenich (Alan) of Farmington, MN, Kim Schultz (Wendell) of Randall, MN; brothers, Chuck (Lois) Tangen of Leader, MN; Alvin Tangen Jr. of Maple, WI; sisters, Rebecca (Norman) Gullixson of Dennison, MN and Margaret (Greg) Rosenberg of Brainerd, MN; 20 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren. Sandra was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Darrell; her parents, Alvin Tangen Sr. & Lorraine Tangen; granddaughter, Corrine Brooks; brother-in-law, Lester Wormstadt and sister-in-law, Judy Kludt. Honorary Casketbearers will be Mariah Wendland, Amanda Bochow, Chantel Schuett, Sarah Wendland, Holly Kempenich, Shanna Kludt, Brandy Safe, Amber Kallis, Annette Brown, Deserah Van Dahl, Melissa Lloyd, Heather Holmberg and the late Corrine Brooks. Active Casketbearers will be Ryan Schultz, Cory Kludt, Shad Kludt, Brian Kempenich, Jason Wendland, Justin Kempenich and Shawn Baron.
