Woodrow "Woody" Angevine

Woodrow R. Angevine age 88, a resident of Little Falls Minnesota passed away Thursday January 29, 2026 at Diamond Willow Assisted Living with his family and his health care staff by his side. A remembrance of his life will be held at a later date. Caring for Woodrow and his family is the LeMieur Funeral Home in Little Falls, MN. Woodrow was born in Glen Ridge, New Jersey and is where he attended high school. He was known through his high school years as Ronald Angevine and received the nick name "Punk", a nick name he would not share as to why he received that name. He was referred to as being quite (hard to believe), and he was also known for swinging a mean hockey stick, and when the lakes were frozen over ice skating replaced swimming that he thoroughly enjoyed. Woodrow joined the United States Air Force following graduating from high school and served 6 years. During his Air Force career, he traveled to a number of places, he was stationed in Landstuhl Germany, served time in Nebraska and ended his military career in Minnesota. Woodrow than started working as a field service Engineer/Manager for DeZurik Inc. in Sartell, Minnesota and he worked there for over 30 years before he retired . During those years, he lived in a number of cities before he decided to make Little Falls his home where he and his wife of 37 years, Dorithy Angevine remained until he passed. Woodrow enjoyed the great outdoors, he loved to fish, spend time at Pixie Point resort, working outside, carpentry, he enjoyed gatherings with family and friends and treasured all the moments and the memories. He enjoyed growing his own tomatoes and cucumbers, feeding the birds and the little critters that came into his yard, he also enjoyed getting together with his buddies for morning coffee at the Royal Cafe. Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 37 years, Dorithy Angevine; his son, Raymond Angevine; 2 daughters, Virginia Bundy, and Patricia Lenhart; 2 step kids, Jamie Kunkel and Jody Kunkel. 14 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren . He was preceded in death by his parents; his sons, James Angevine and Robert Angevine; and his step-son, Scott Kunkel. Woodrow will be truly missed by all who knew him, and he will remain in our hearts forever.
